2 Months Birthday - Week 9

Week 9 Henry was 2 months old this week! 

Monday, June 20

Tuesday, June 21

Henry turned over for the first time this night but it was kind of assisted. His arms were right under him and it helped him flip over really easily. So we tried to get it on film again but no luck.

At Taco Tuesday Sydney shared her front page pic on Skateboarding.

Wednesday, June 22

I placed Henry down on his stomach and went to get the camera and when I returned he was on his back. I missed it again. I tried and tried to get it on film but no luck.

Thursday, June 23

Can you believe that 2 months has come and gone already. I can't believe how big he has gotten. One of my favorite photos from our photo shoot with Hillary was Henry in our brown chair. I decided to use this chair as a way to capture Henry's growth each month. So hopefully you will see a picture of Henry in this chair each month so you can see how big he gets. (As long as I remember to do it.)

Friday, June 24 

We all went to dinner at HapiFish in Encinitas with Jim, Corey and Wren. Jim works with Ryan. Wren their daughter is 16 months and adorable. It is so fun to see kids that are just a little older than Henry. I can't wait to see Henry at that age. HapiFish was really good. They have a great happy hour from 5-7pm. It was nice to go out with friends. We were laughing because we met for dinner at 5pm, which is so early for us. We usually eat at 7 or 8. But the restaurant had quite a few families there at that time. I guess that's our life now. Early dinner to make bed time.

Saturday, June 25 

Henry and I went to Alessandra's Baby Shower. Alessandra and I work together at the Seasons. She is due at the end of August. and she is also having a boy (Jack). Everyone is having boys. It was great to see lots of Four Seasons friends. Henry did really well.

Later Frank and Carissa came for dinner. We decided to get all our Euro Travel pals together for dinner. So Frank, Carissa, Morgen, Kristin, and Sam came over. Blair and Travis (my work friend) came and brought their 5 month old Mason too. It was a full house. Frank and Carissa were so good with Henry. He took a liking to Frank right away, which most people do.

It was a fun night of catching up, eating and drinking. We shared some photos from Europe and lots of stories. Ryan and I made kababs, cous cous with squash and a big greek salad. It turned out really good. I was just pleased that I was still able to feed Henry, keep him entertained, entertain others and make dinner. It was a good feeling.

Henry didn't think Frank was very funny

They are good friends now.

Sunday, June 26

Henry and I went over to hang out with my dad because my mom was out of town. I put Henry in his trunks for the first time since it was such a nice day. 

My Mom is Cool!
