First Theme Park - Week 10

Monday, June 27

We had Tess over for dinner tonight. Tess is leaving for China for 2 years at the end of July. It was really great to spend time with her before she leaves. I am really going to miss my Tess. She has been a dear and close friend since High School. She has always been there for me. Always loving and never judging. Even though I am terrible and making plans very often to hang out, she still loves me. We always have a good time together and best of all she laughs at my jokes (who is going to do that now?). I love her dearly and am so proud of her for making this big leap. She is a strong woman who I admire. I am really going to miss her but I couldn't be happier for her. She will be back every 5 months so we will just have to enjoy anytime we get during those visits. Plus we can Skype from time to time. Well if I didn't already say it ...We love you Tess!

Henry went to his first theme park today! The whole family went to Sea World. I had some free tickets from work so I thought it would be a fun afternoon for the family.

We had a rough start to the day. We accidentally got sunscreen in his eyes. He was screaming in the parking lot. Finally he cried it out and we were able to calm him down. It felt like 30 minutes but it was only a few minutes. Good thing we were in the parking lot alone. It was a little scary for us.

But all in all the day was really great. It was nice and sunny all day and we got to walk around a lot and see a lot of the exhibits. Henry did really great and slept mostly. We both can't wait for the day when we go back and he can really enjoy all the shows and animals.
