It was Mary Kelly (my dearest friend from childhood) and Kayla Jo's (Rachelle's little gal) Birthday!!! Happy Birthday ladies!!

I finally had my follow up Dr. appt. And all went perfectly fine. Henry came with me so I could show him off. Linda our Dr. was really excited to see him and hear how well we were doing. Henry was the hit of the office.

I keep trying to catch Henry chatting but every time he sees the camera he stops. Listen to this video at about 1:07. It's written all over his face.

Saturday, June 18

It was Kayla Jo's birthday party. It was her second birthday. Henry, Ryan, Dad and I drove to Corona to celebrate. It was great to see everyone in that neck of the woods. Everyone was excited to see little man too. I can't wait for Henry to be two. What a fun age. Running around, talking, saying funny things, and so much more.

That night we celebrated Father's Day because my mom was leaving on Sunday for a few weeks for work. Mom and I made a BBQ feast. Ribs, macaroni salad, and corn were on the menu. I wanted to make it a special night since it was Ryan's first Father's Day. And BBQ is his favorite food. I also ordered a cake for the Rum Cake Lounge(http://www.rumcakelounge.com/). They make all different kinds of rum cakes and ship them for free. I had seen it on the news one night. And since Ryan and Dad really like rum cake I got one for the night. It was so yummy.

Ryan's gift was a collection of items. It was "Ryan's Top 10 Favorite Things". It was cargo shorts with pockets filled with things he likes...

2. Beach Break (Hats from Beach Break)

3. Wine (A nice bottle of red wine highly recommended by our favorite wine store 'Wine Loft')

4. Henry (I made him a small brag book of photos on shutterfly of him and Henry.)

5. SUP (Gift Certificate to 3 sessions of Stand Up Paddle Boarding.)

6. Angels (Tickets to an Angel game)

7. Guns (A gift certificate to Turners a hunting store.)

8. Stone (A growl of Stone brew.)

9. Watches (I fixed up the watch I had given him for Henry's arrival. It is a 1984 Rolex and I engraved it with 'A father's love is without end.' 'Henry Ryan, April 23, 2011'

10. A surprise on Father's Day. (A big homemade breakfast.)

I was so excited to give him his gift and he really liked it. Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband. Who I knew would make an amazing father but surprises me everyday how truly amazing he is. I fell in love with him all over again when Henry came along. My boys bring me pure joy and happiness. Love you Ryan (& Henry).
