To catch everyone up on Henry and the month of August here is a quick run through the month...with a few minor exceptions. There were some pretty big events this month that deserve their own page.

Sunday, August 7th
We started sponsoring a child in Africa. One of our dear family friends (he actually married us) runs a foundation in Africa that supports a village, their school and the children in the village. It's a really amazing foundation and I was really touched by what they accomplish there. Here is a link to their website:

Friday, August 12th - Sunday, August 14th
Ryan went to Wisconsin for the weekend to attend a yearly run in honor of one of his friends that was killed in Iraq, Ryan Jerabek. His parents have done this run for the last 5 years. Ryan and a group of the guys that were over there together all travel from all over to support the run and catch up. Ryan was honored this year by the family choosing him to wear Ryan Jerabek's dog tags during the run. He was also interviewed by the local news.

It is a documentary about the Jerabek's loss of their son and their youngest son's journey into the military. Ryan is interviewed in the movie. It's really an amazing film about this amazing family. Thursday, August 18th
I was due to return back to work in the middle of August. After many conversations with my boss Florian and after many conversations with Ryan, we decided that it was best for me to stay home with Henry. I decided that I wanted to focus all of my attention on Henry and my family. Ryan and I thought it would be best for me to find a part time job but after thinking about it we decided it would be the perfect time for me to venture out and start my own business. So I decided to start my own business, two fold, an event planning business and an organization business. I offered to Four Seasons that if they needed me for anything that they could hire me as a consultant and they did. So now I am working two days a week at the Four Seasons assisting with their renovation project.
Anyway more to come on my own business, as soon as I am done consulting at the Four Seasons I will start to really get into my own business. But everyone at work threw me a farewell party at Florian's house. It was a really great night and I felt loved. Dean cooked his famous ribs. Henry found a partner in crime with Florian (Henry appreciated his hair cut).
Friday, August 19th
My first day back to work (half day). We wanted to capture the big moment.
This was a funny moment from the morning. Clementine dug herself into her bed and couldn't find her way out. Kinda hard to see but super funny. Again she's very pretty but not very smart.
