Mr. and Mrs. Ben Mcdaniel

Last night Ryan and I went to a wedding in Dana Point. We left Henry for the first time at night with Nana Jeanne. At first we were a bit nervous because he was acting weird right before we left, it was almost like he knew that we were leaving. But after Jeanne's first text that he was doing great and making it easy on her, we felt much better.

The wedding was at a church in San Juan Capistrano and then at Laguna Cliffs Marriott. It was a very beautiful wedding. Megan really has great taste. The girls wore navy blue and pearls. The flowers were mixed colors of pinks, blues, whites, and blues. Really classic colors and feel. Ben Mcdaniel is a family friend, his dad and my mom went to church camp together when they were just teenagers. Then we ended up living in the same neighborhood in Vista together - small world. Since then we have been part of the big Mcdaniel family. Megan, his now wife, is a great girl. They are just the perfect match. It's always so wonderful to be a part of a celebration like that where there is so much love and acceptance in the room for one couple. Wishing you a long and happy life - Ben and Megan!

It was a fun night with Ryan. It was the first night away by ourselves and of course about 2 hours into it we both said, 'I miss Henry.' And we only texted Jeanne like 50 times. No but it was fun to have more than just one glass of wine and to dance without worrying about what time it was, when do I need to feed again, or is Henry tired should we put him to sleep. It was a nice night and we still missed our little man. So much that I wasn't anything but happy when he woke up at 7:30 this morning after I went to sleep at 1am.
