Sleeping Boy - Week 7

Week 7 has been a really interesting one. Not too much happened but Henry hit a real milestone. He starting sleeping for longer periods of time at night. YEAH!!!!

Monday - June 6

Auntie Randi and I spent all day out shopping. Best of all we finally got to go to H&M for Henry. I was so excited because I was told they have great baby clothes. And they do. We got a few things for Henry that are sooooo cute.

This was the first night Henry slept for 5.5 hours and then 4.5 hours at night. I am crediting the swaddle. We swaddled him before but with his hands near his face. I decided to try swaddling him with this arms down tight this night. But I had to do it once he was already sleeping because otherwise he would fight it. AND it worked wonders.

Tuesday - June 7

I put him in this new outfit he got from a family friend. These are my favorite photos of him right now. They just capture his personality and cuteness.

Thursday - June 9

Happy Birthday Auntie Randi!!!! 24 years old today!!!

Friday - June 10

Henry was sleeping so sweetly so I put him in bed with his dad for a photo. Look at my two handsome boys sleeping.

Saturday - June 11
(Henry is 7 weeks old today)

Mom, Henry and I went to our family friends Bye Bye Boobie Party. My mom's good friend Beth has breast cancer and is now getting new ones. All the ladies got together to wish her well and give her all our love. Henry was the all male there. It was a beautiful day. Henry got to wear some of his H&M clothes too, Beatles T-shirt and Jeans. I actually was dressed nice and had makeup on so we got some good shots together. Later we hung at Mom and Dad's. Henry and Ryan got some quality Father Son Time on his play mat.

What does everyone think about Grandma DeDe from my mom?
Momma's Boy

He was really crying but it looks like he's lovin' up on me.

Sunday - June 12

I spent all last night putting the final touches on Ryan's First Father's Day gift. I can't tell you what it is yet. But I will take pictures so you can see what I (& Henry) put together for him.

Henry slept from anywhere between 5.5 to 6.5 hours (first round) and then 4.5 to 3.5 hours (second round) this whole week. It was pretty exciting to see the progress he has made. And nice to know that it does get better. Because he had done so well all week I decided to try putting him in the crib last night for the first time. He had taken naps in their before but he has been in the bassinet next to me at night. And he did it! I got some really good sleep. Thanks buddy!
