Smiles - Week 6

Well I am almost caught up, two more weeks to go. I can't get this behind. It takes too long to catch up. I know I always say this but I will get better about this blogging stuff. Week 6 was super fun because Henry without a doubt began smiling all the time. So about every picture we have is him just having a good old time.

Sunday - May 29

His baby acne got really bad this week. It was driving me crazy because I just wanted him to feel okay. And I know he did it just didn't look comfortable.

Monday - May 30th

Ryan works the night shift right now, which is 5pm to 5am. So when he wakes up around noon or so we like to get lots of play time in with him and dad.

Tuesday - May 31

Blair my dear friend from Four Seasons, came to visit us. She just had a little boy in January, Mason. It was the first day she had to leave him at the sitters because she was going back to work on Wednesday. She was doing better good considering. I just kept thinking how hard that is going to be, to leave Henry to go back to work. I don't even want to think about it. I'll just enjoy all the time we have together now. 

Henry put on a very funny outfit. A girl from work, Paulina, made him this shirt. Too cute. Grandpa and Grandma came over later to see Henry smile. He was all business that night though and gave them a run for their money. I guess you can't force it.

Thursday - June 1

Ryan had range training all week. So he was working crazy hours this week. He worked from Sunday to the following Wed. , 11 days in a row. So I sent him funny messages from Henry and I every day. 

Ryan had this funny little saying that he tells Henry all the time. So one morning I sent him this image.

Jessica, a friend from work, and her husband Justin came by to visit with us. He spent lots of time on his play mat. He found himself in the mirror and was glued there for nearly an hour. Well he is super cute...

Sunday -  June 5

We had a fun day. We went to a baby shower for my Sister-in-law Michelle and Billy. My dad came with us because it was in Seal Beach and I thought the moral support during the long drive might be nice. It was a beautiful day and Henry was the hit of the party, at least with our family.

Michelle is due at the end of July so our babies will just be 3 months apart. We can't wait so we can have lots of get togethers with the babies. They are expecting a girl. Nana Jeanne and one of Michelle's friends put the party together. It was really well done. The colors were red, yellow and white. They were super creative and the theme of summer was tied into all the details.

Billy had never changed a diaper before, so we had Henry work on a really good diaper for him. Billy did his first change on Henry. He did really good. He asked lots of questions, accidentally got poop on him and kept Henry entertained the whole time. Henry just laid there and looked up at Billy very calmly the whole time. All and all I would say Billy had a very successful first change. But I told him girls are much harder. It was a nice day with family and friends.
