Ryan and Addison wanted to go snowboarding a few weeks ago and Randi and I thought it would be a great idea to go with him. Boy were we wrong.... First we had to wake up super early to get there before the crowds. We got almost to the top and the did a check for chains. We had 4-wheel drive but the guy made us turn around because we didn't have chains. Oh and I forgot, just before that Henry threw up because he was car sick.
So we had to drive all the way down and go up another way, hoping that the same thing wouldn't happen. We made it about half way up again and Henry continued to get sick. He was sitting backward, not good. Once we got to Arrowhead we stopped for breakfast. Henry of course was perfectly fine once he got out of the car. After breakfast we finally got the mountain, a hour & a half later.
Once we got there it just got funnier and funnier. Everything from lugging a giant stroller around everywhere, getting strange looks from everyone for being there with babies, and snow falling on our lunch. Randi and I soon realized that we probably shouldn't have gone. But in the end it was a fun day, a very memorable first family trip.
We got some pretty cute pics though...
